Grounded Paws Animal Rescue Inc. is a not for profit rescue group dedicated to helping animals in need and finding them forever homes, where they can live out the rest of their lives being spoilt and loved.

Working with close friends, local supporters and the public, rescued animals are quickly put into the homes of our wonderful group of foster carer families and rehabilitated to be ready for adoption, as well as being vet worked (de-sexed, microchipped and vaccinated) and treated for fleas and worms.

We work closely alongside the Latrobe Pound, and take impounded animals that are on death row into our care.

We wish to educate the community about the importance of microchipping, worming, vaccinating and especially de-sexing so that one day, the world won't need rescue groups like us!

Grounded Paws is a non profit organisation and we rely heavily on donations. Please look out for our donation bin located at PetStock Traralgon. This drop off point is where you can donate kitten food, litter and kitten flea treatments.

The name 'Grounded Paws' has meaning behind it. Many people say when people find themselves in a good situation "you've found your feet!" and in an animal sense it's "they've landed on their paws". Grounded Paws goes onto say that the animals in our care have landed on their paws and they will forever stay grounded. Whether or not their homes work out, they will always be safe with GPAR.
